Thanks for stopping by! Today I’m guest posting at The Survival Mom. Come join me there to find out why you should know your roads, not just your map!
If you’re visiting me for the first time today, thank you so much for stopping by. Grab a cup of tea and let’s get to know one another.
I like to toss around the term “farm” when I describe our home. A more accurate description would be rural half acre where we raise chickens, rabbits, a garden, some fruit trees and a pair of alarmingly immodest girl children. We are learning to be frugal, green(ish), self-sufficient and most importantly humbled before God, who has given us all we have. I love to dish out my opinion on all the the above matters, but am by no means an expert on any of them, so I encourage you to leave your comments and opinions. In return I’ll share all I learn along the way. I hope you’ll enjoy your time on the farm. Here’s a little of what we’ve been up to:
Canning
Wood Stove Baking
Water Storage
Building a 72 Hour Kit
Planning the Garden
