A Season of Loss

Our little community seems to be in a season of loss.
Although we all must know that we are not being singled out, it sure feels as if we are.
If there can be a silver lining it’s that we’ve all had the opportunity to see through to the heart of what community really is.
It’s banding together to make things happen.
It’s an outpouring of prayers, love and support.
It’s dropping off a casserole, or picking up the kids.
It’s lending a hand, or an ear, or a shoulder.
I couldn’t think of a better place to live and raise my family.
